Forthcoming gig in Melbourne

Be there - if you live in that part of the world - or get eaten by a bear!

You should include more 'or get eaten by a bear' threats on your blog posts. It really makes them pop out on the google reader.

In your readings, have you come across Matt Flannagan, a Kiwi Christian philosopher? He writes a lot of good stuff on the topic of church and state, check out this one that got published in a mainstream magazine; http://www.mandm.org.nz/2011/09/contra-mundum-separating-church-and-state.html

He definitely has some strong arguments in there and I hope he challenges some of your stuff! Check out the rest of his site as he has heaps of posts on subjects that would interest you.

Gah, your gig's on a Thursday night, and I work night shifts. :(

Would have liked to meet you in person, Russell. More pertinently, I so don't want to be eaten by a bear.

Damn. Never mind - if you do survive the bear, there'll be other opportunities in Melb. (though they may also turn out to be on Tuesday nights).

The thing that kills me is this - I'm on break now til 16 Jan.

And my religious friends wonder why I don't believe in a benevolent God.

Whoops, I meant to say Thursday nights ... of course. Silly me.
