Bad anniversary

It's now one year to the day since my mother died - a bad anniversary. I'll be taking things very easy today.

My condolences. My mother died a few years ago-- a long-running battle with cancer she was never going to win-- and there are still moments when I find myself biting my lip as I do or discover something I know she would have loved to experience or hear about. Even in their absence, Mothers are central. I hope the day passes without too much pain, and with some good memories to soften the time
