I agree - non-politicians should have the same freedom to take part fearlessly in public debate on political topics as politicians. How, otherwise, could we criticise what politicians do and say?

Is it just me, or does that seem wrong. Surely the degree to which you are free to speak shouldn't hinge on whether or not you're a politician.
