Naaaaw, it won't be the last we see of Uncanny. It'll be replaced for the duration of a story arc, probably a long term story arc, the same way "Avengers" was back in 2004. It's going to be "X-Men Disassembled".
Still, it's pretty big news, it has to be among the longest running titles of any comic?
Yeah, but they haven't restored the original numbering of the old Avengers book - they've split it into a batch of new books all of which started again at #1. I expect some similar kind of rationalisation is in store for the various X-books. Mathew, I wouldn't worry - they'll have to make the way it's replaced very obvious.
