- Russell Blackford
- I am an Australian philosopher, literary critic, and professional writer. My new book, from Wiley-Blackwell, is FREEDOM OF RELIGION AND THE SECULAR STATE. I'm editor-in-chief of The Journal of Evolution and Technology, an on-line, peer-reviewed journal. I am a Conjoint Lecturer in the School of Humanities and Social Science at the University of Newcastle, NSW. My formal qualifications include First Class Honours degrees in Arts and Law, and separate Ph.Ds in English literature and philosophy. The latter may seem extravagant, but I have my reasons! Whoa.
Naaaaw, it won't be the last we see of Uncanny. It'll be replaced for the duration of a story arc, probably a long term story arc, the same way "Avengers" was back in 2004. It's going to be "X-Men Disassembled".
Still, it's pretty big news, it has to be among the longest running titles of any comic?
Yeah, but they haven't restored the original numbering of the old Avengers book - they've split it into a batch of new books all of which started again at #1. I expect some similar kind of rationalisation is in store for the various X-books. Mathew, I wouldn't worry - they'll have to make the way it's replaced very obvious.
