well considering this man represents the world as seen through altered eyes and mental states I understand some of his dillusional bearing.
My interest is often in the responses made to the affront of the man... these are truly telling in the vision of some aspects of developing society. Yes DM has issues but in his expression of trouble states he brings out even more troubling responses that highlight parts of our society that are equally repulsive.
DM serves a purpose, as everyone alive serves some purpose, it is often we are too busy being clever smart arses to recognise we are letting ourselves down
I am an Australian philosopher, literary critic, and professional writer. My new book, from Wiley-Blackwell, is FREEDOM OF RELIGION AND THE SECULAR STATE.
I'm editor-in-chief of The Journal of Evolution and Technology, an on-line, peer-reviewed journal.
I am a Conjoint Lecturer in the School of Humanities and Social Science at the University of Newcastle, NSW.
My formal qualifications include First Class Honours degrees in Arts and Law, and separate Ph.Ds in English literature and philosophy. The latter may seem extravagant, but I have my reasons!
Feel free to follow me on Twitter (tweeting as "@Metamagician").
