Sunday supervillainy - baddies gone good

Some great heel-face turns discussed in this article at Newsarama (I'm always delighted at the excuse to post an Emma Frost pic).

Kinda surprised Doctor Doom didn't get a mention in there. He's worked alongside heroes loads of times after all.

Or... is it that his machinations are such that his actions for good are dismissed because it's all ultimately FOR DOOM?

Pathetic fools who cannot see that Dr. Doom's system of morality far eclipses their own.

I'm not sure Doom has ever had a real heel-face turn, though, as opposed to sometimes strategically allying himself with the good guys. Magneto currently seems much like that as well, but he's a bit more convincing as at least an anti-hero.
