Libel reform in the UK

The British government has committed to reforming defamation law in its law in its notoriously plaintiff-friendly jurisdiction - but there is little sign of the deep reforms that need to be made to protect freedom of speech that might reach a British audience. More needs to be done to ensure that the balance favours fearless speech on matters of public interest.
