Coffee or tea?

  1. Ohhhh! I can't wait until I can catch up on missed issues of New Avengers again....

  2. This is from Avengers: The Children's Crusade # 6. I like the use of the word "... tea", as opposed to just "tea", as a synonym for sex. This is doubtless something to be borne in mind.

  3. Haha, I love The Beast's reaction, he would have been completely oblivious to Hawkeye's indiscretion but for Jessica. To Hank, "...tea" just mean tea! He could never be an Elevator Guy - not intentionally, anyway.

  4. Yeah, the dialogue is hilarious. Allan Heinberg is brilliant.

  5. I suppose one of the questions is whether Elevator Guy is actually more like Clint or Hank. Unfortunately, we don't know - not unless he comes forward for our inspection.

  6. That's true. We've no way of knowing Elevator Guy's intentions (although the coffee line is so hackneyed it almost makes me think the guy was being sincere about his intentions - seriously, how could anyone use that as a pick-up line?).

I seriously doubt that Elevator Guy will do a Clint and expose his indiscretion, given all that has followed it. I can't help but feel sorry for the dude, and assuming he has anything resembling a human capacity for embarrassment, I imagine that it will be a long time before he hits on a woman again.
