The hunting of the snark

And here's the latest wisdom about something or other from the mighty snark hunter, Jeremy Stangroom. Lots of goodies today!

  1. Take a swipe at someone, then close your comments section.

When people do that, I feel like I don't even need to comment. They've made the point for me.

  2. He does seen to have lost the plot doesn't he..

As far as I can tell, the only way you could be jusified in his mind as civil is if you had never ridiculed anything ever, even when it is ridiculous.. This really is a ludicrous standard.

The only civil Blackford is a silent Blackford!

  3. I really don't get it. Apparently, there are some kinds of criticism that are not allowed.

Good: Sarcasm and snarky, bitter references to past arguments.

Bad: Mentioning someone's shiny, well-maintained teeth.

Stangroom is going to be very upset with me when he discovers that we refer to Matt Nisbet by his "nice hair".
