The Australian newspaper is worth a read, even though it is by someone who might be expected to be out of the sympathy with the book. The almost mandatory attack on Richard Dawkins for his supposed stridency is annoying, but it gets much better after that, so do read on. It concludes:
This book offers much in understanding local nuances in the present global upsurge of atheist voices. And it shows, if you'll excuse the religious allusion, that atheism is indeed a very broad church.
Quite so. There's no party line here. We're not the Vatican or the Supreme Soviet.
