Death of Elisabeth Sladen

Damn! I'm very sad to hear about this. I loved her portrayal of Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who. Many fans of the show will be upset today. :(

    I'm a huge fan of Doctor Who (going right back to 1971) and was also deeply shocked by this news.

    I got Doctor Who - Planet of the Spiders at the weekend and there she is, so full of life. The commentary features Nick Courtney (the Brigadier) and producer Barry Letts, both of whom passed away in recent months. I'm at that age were my childhood heroes are dying with shocking regularity.
