PZ's heart problems

I just caught up with this post from PZ Myers about his recalcitrant heart. There's not much that I can say, except to wish him well and to trust that he is surrounded by his loved ones, which is what matters most.

Hope all is well soon, Paul Zed!

I'm sure we'll see plenty of wackaloons who will see God's Almighty Plan in this. First Hitchens, now PZ with heart trouble.

Even money odds we'll see the first such wackaloon posting an article within a day.

Though I expect (hope) they can bung in a stent or two, give him the right meds, and we'll have PZ for a few more decades.

FYI, David Wood set up a fundraiser for the British Heart Foundation on PZ Myers’ behalf. See here.

And I gather that he's had a stent inserted - and all is well.

Thanks for the updates, Russell. I'm not a habitue at Pharyngula, but PZ is a wonderful fellow and an important ally as well.
